I Do Believe unveils several brand new songs and re-interprets some old quartet favorites. From "He's Watching Me," an upbeat number about a busy Creator, to "The Love Of God," a classic written half a century ago by V.B. Ellis, this project makes a statement. But even the older songs contain an element of serious fun. For proof, listen to "Oh, What A Time." "More Than Ever" the story of a spiritual pilgrimage, showcases the matchless vocals of tenor David Phelps. The strong songwriting contribution of Suzanne Jennings is heard on six of the songs. With Wood Wright and Guy Penrod, she wrote "One Good Song," another upbeat tune stressing the believer's call to downsize and prioritize.
